Why are you part of The Women's Conference this year?
I'm a part of the Women’s Conference because I believe that women should have a nurturing environment to speak their mind—the Women’s Conference gives that nurturing environment.
With this year's conference theme "Remarkable Lives. Remarkable Legacies. What's Yours?" ... what do you hope your legacy will be?
I hope the message I leave behind is one of caring for each other, loving thyself, and standing up for what you believe in.
Which woman in your life has made the biggest impression and why?
My mother, because she has been through so much in her life, from the ’60s until now, and she still has faith and she is not broken down.
When do you feel most empowered?
I feel most empowered when I have conquered something that other people thought I wouldn't. Who are you most excited to see and/or meet at the conference this year?
I'm excited to see all the women because they all believe in and stand up for what I believe in.
Which woman do you admire?
I admire Martha Stewart because even through her hard times she has been able to stand strong in a "man's world." She has taken something that every woman does or needs to learn and made it a business.
